Chaos at Formby waste recycling centre






This afternoon drivers and staff faced pandemonium at Formby’s waste recycling centre, near Tesco’s superstore in Altcar Road.



Apparently a loss of power meant that household waste was quickly building up and could not be dealt with.



Piles of assorted waste mounted up with staff unable to deal with it.
